  1. my favourite newly discovered forest unfolds its magic by and by. Every time I go thee it offers something new. Canon 5D MKII and my favourite Elmarit R 60 mm macro lens + polarizer
  2. Last weekend there was much fog and the right weather to get some impressions of the strange forrest atmosphere. I am afraid the scaled down size is not showing as much details a it should but you can have a look. all with Canon 5D MKii and Elmarit R 60mm + APO Converter 2x
  3. mushrooms are there in numbers and manifold varieties. One has to step carefully not to smash them while ploughing with a heavy bag and tripod through the forest paths. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit macro 60mm + Leica APO2x converter.

  8. These last days were rainy, overcast and cold. To get my fill of fresh air after office I snatched my combo Olympus EM5 + Nocticron (Panasonic-Leica). Our Botanical garden is a rich field of experimentation and new discoveries. This time I discovered a part where trees, rhododendron and fern are forming a kind of jungle of exotic character.

  12. these are the first winter days in this region and searching for a scenery of light snow and mist I kept roaming for a while and further up the hills a quiet deserted scenery was unfolding. Light was already fading a bit and a light drizzling started. Canon 5D MKII and my favourite R-Elmarit 60mm lens was mounted. Exposure with my favourite aperture 5.6 for these low light cases and 1/15 sec ISO 200 + polarizer.

Still there were many leaves on the beech trees in early november Enjoy the golden mornings - now scenery has changed into a grey, misty and monochrome character.   14. These days there are still leaves on the beech trees and the light can give a moment of magic. One has to be quick because the magic vanishes soon.   15. an early october morning walk in a local beech forest. One can walk along a brook and roaming freely wherever one likes. Thanks for crossing the bridges.
