  1. Hi Renata, I use mostly spot metering and aperture priority and leave ISO on auto. I absolutely agree with you most of the time the whole image was exposed, and as you said, the SL2-s is quite generous with ISO. I therefore use M mode and dial back the ISO. My TL does the same thing and is quite annoying. I bought these cameras because sometimes I don’t want to fiddle with my M10, but it seems other brands of cameras I have are more intelligent when it comes to auto metering.
  2. Here are photos of 6L with SL2-s + SL35mm (with / without hood). There’s not much space except for batteries and small items. The two elastic side pockets are not much use as they eat into the bag’s space rather than expand outward. It is a bit tight for me.
  3. I found mounting APO SL lens and M to L adapter quite tight, not smooth as M lens on M bodies.
  4. I bought the SL2-s in Hong Kong. I do not remember whether I used the link stated by Jeff S or use a link stated in the brochures that came with the camera. One thing I vaguely remember was that I was asked to enter the version of camera I bought, the details of which was printed on the camera box (see photo). The serial number should be without the ZERO.
  5. Glad you returned the Sigma. I think your purchase of the LUMIX 24-70 is a good choice. Enjoy !
  6. Take a look at Luckystraps.com Leather is nice with quick release hook.
  7. I do not have a Q2. I had a Typ 109 and like it a lot. I traded it in for a D-Lux 7 when it came out of the market. The D-lux 7 is not good in low light condition and you really have to shoot at the largest aperture. However, in bright sunny days, It matches 95% the output in colour and resolution of my M10 with 35/50 Summilux. The D-Lux 7 is my grab and go camera. Even though the X-Vario is in the same class, somehow, I like the D-Lux 7 more because it is faster, smaller and IQ is better too.
  8. For information of members who has purchased the Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 lens, here’s Sigma’s news issued on 23 March.
  9. If you use SL native lenses, there is a firmware 2.0. As for Camera body, mine is still on ver 1.0
  10. Thank you all for the detail explanations. Indeed, when I use the Lumix 20-60mm 3.5-5.6 L mount, the problem is only minimal. Thanks again.
  11. Thank you. I thought APO is invincible.
  12. Being an amateur, can someone enlighten me what’s wrong with the colour at circled areas. Shot with SL2-S + APO SL 35mm f4.5, 1/1000 sec, AWB, ISO 100. Thanks.
  13. Same situation as you, i.e. keeping m240, holding off m10, bought fuji x-t2 with 16-55 f2.8 for travel. Checked out x-pro2, SL with 24-90, Hasselblad X1D but decided x-t2 is the best all round tool for travelling light. Before this, my travel gear took one of the following forms : 1. X-vario + RX1R 2. OMD EM1 with 12-40 f2.8 3. OMD EM1 with 7-14 f2.8 + M240 + Summicron 35+50) 4. M240 + 50 SUMMICRON + 90 SUMMARIT + WATE
