  1. I think that's a fair viewpoint. I think some perspective is in order, though. The lens has beautiful rendering, but compared to its Leica brethren, it's not unique or spectacular. Compared to other lenses, especially APS-C lenses it is lovely. But yes, it's crazy expensive. Especially since they raised the price $400 after launch.
  2. It's called the L mount, though. It was originally the T mount, but when the SL came out, they renamed it L. TL is the lens designation, not the mount. :-) Thank you for the kind words, everyone. If I have some free time today or tomorrow I'll try to share a DNG.
  3. I have a real-world hands on review of the new Leica Summilux-TL 35mm f/1.4 with some samples. Let me know what you think! https://fstoppers.com/originals/hands-new-leica-summilux-tl-35mm-f14-lens-121465
  4. Here's my write-up about the Summilux-TL! I have real-world samples as well: https://fstoppers.com/originals/hands-new-leica-summilux-tl-35mm-f14-lens-121465
  5. I'm a full-time Nikon professional. I shoot Leica M9 and M3 as well. I'm going to be test-driving the T and SL.
