  1. Sorry, I do not exactly know when the order was made. When I asked what was the delivery time for a M246 two months ago, they told me that they already had an order pending and, if I was interested, they could inform me as soon as they would receive it. I got the call yesterday. It looks like I have been lucky this time (I waited 2 years for the AA50).
  2. Just back home with the M246. Battery charging....[emoji51]
  3. I received a phone call from my Leica dealer. They just got a M246 this morning. I will pick it up tomorrow :-)
  4. http://luxnco.com/en/7-m-insert It works for me. Light and easy to grab your camera and shoot.
  5. Another interesting comparison picture found on the web.
  6. Interesting to see how some images can be misleading. I found this interesting picture of an SL with a Cron-M 28 lens. Not so big after all....
  7. It is bigger but AF might be interesting in some occasion. So I think I will be waiting on the new M as well as the the specification of the future Summilux SL 50 (that I expect to be better than the Otus + AF) before to make a move...
  8. Probably a good camera but I am not so impressed so far. I would certainly change my mind next year when Leica will release the Summilux SL that I expect to be better than the Otus, and with AF.
  9. Yes! Not so far in price and size from the S. So why a professional would not jump to MF instead?
  10. Nice specification but unattractive and far to expensive (even for a Leica). "M" will still remain the first letter of the Leica alphabet !
  11. Yes good point. But no rangefinder on the FM3 and no possibility to use the compact Leica M optics... So we will have to wait the Leica FM (for Film M) ;-)
  12. For me the perfect analog camera would be a M7-P a la carte. A kind of mix between the M7 and the MP. For some occasion, I would love to have the aperture priority and metering accuracy of the M7. But I would also have the ability to shoot manually at any speed without battery like the MP. I would like to select the exposure time turning a speed dial that would be like the M7 (bigger and better located than the speed dial of the MP). Obviously such a camera would need a new hybrid shutter.
  13. No need to buy a new camera. I will just have to remove the battery from my MP instead ;-)
  14. Yessssss!!! After waiting for almost two years, I received mine today
  15. No! I am not convinced by this camera. I do not not even understand the concept. I am definitely waiting for the Sony A7S for my Leica M lenses. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
