  1. Before someone tell a joke that I confused the M10 with my Nikon D3, continuous mean that the camera was on (w/o turning off) for ~ 4 ½ hours , take total of 700 pictures with Drive mode as “continuous” but does not mean that my finger was left forgotten shooting continuously. Total of batteries used was one and half. After first hour on – the camera body temperature was very high and everything start to froze. So I thing that when the camera reach certain temperature, either the software hold some components on or the tolerance for high temperatures is low... And yes I always format the S
  2. Love M10 Colors but hate behavior. !! I really love how the camera render colors but don’t like how it has behaved. After 30 minutes continuous hooting, the M10 body temperature was very high and shooting on continuous mode start frozen the camera (this remind me the old days with the M240 not solved after 2-3 firmware updates). Only option to get camera back was to remove the battery .. through the Cirque performance event, at least 6 times I had to remove the battery. Setup was Continuous mode, DNG+JPG and LV only on EVF no display pictures. Anyone experiencing same problems ?
  3. Steve - I'm experiencing same issue .. none of the Keys pressed to enter my WIFI password displayed in the screen. Looks like a 1020 firmware issue. Please keep posted on any Leica Support reply.
  4. +1 Compared with the SL the M10 is very noise.
  5. I have one of the first Leica APO 50mm F2.0 Lens, but few months ago I noticed in the glass few spots can't be removed after trying with different options to clean or remove. Anyone have a suggestion on what caused it ? Glass is pealing ? coating materials not stable, acid ? Pictures attached.

  7. Received this afternoon my 28mm Summilux SN 0424XXXX with a 2015/04/30 production date and I've seen another box with production date back to 2014 ? Very interesting that some units have been on Leica facilities for a while before releasing to the public.
  8. The 28 Lux arrived to Leica Store Bellevue, WA. Got one unit.
  9. I have both MM I & II – and regardless Erwin’s scientific Testing methodology the MM-II is way better than MM-I when you compare all factors together and I’m not trying to justify my Emotional MM-II purchase. J. Top 5 Reasons why MM-II is way better: · Eye/Brain perception of Grey-Scale tonality is richer; MM-II LCD bigger screen resolutions definitely helps here. · Shooter Sound is beautiful – Love it ! (no surprises here as I’ve been using M-240 for a while) · Viewfinder when you are +50 is a must to have; help me get better focused pictures. · Files structure
  10. Thanks for the information and links very useful.
  11. Just recently added a 1995 Leica M6 to our Leica collection (Leica 0, IIIF, X1, X2, M8, M9, MM, 2x240, MP Olive) with the excuse that my daughter need a Film Camera for their Spring 2015 Photography Classes, and I need to say that love the Quality, weight and feeling of this model. I Love my/her M6 !!! Any idea/suggestion how to get the white color/paint of Leica M6 letter back to an original & bright white ?
  12. Few weeks ago experienced exactly the same situation in my Leica M9. The Glass covering the sensor cracked. Call Leica Customer Service Support as you may need send your camera to them. Mine is on service NJ.
