Hi All, Is anyone using autofocus on the Q3 for street photography? I normally use zone focusing with my other cameras and am curious if anyone's using autofocus with the Q3 and if so what the results are?

I have had my X-1 for about a year and am constantly amazing of the image quality. Enjoy it!

Here's a shot from Southern California area near Newport Beach, after a storm clearing. A little crop and cleanup but very little. X1 1/400 sec at F5.6 ISO 100

I'm a new X1 owner. This was taken a few days ago in Laguna Beach in Southern California when we had some dramatic clouds come through. Add some contrast in Lightroom and sharpened. 1/320 sec f5.8 ISO 100

I am a new X1 owner and really like this camera. Just curious, do you guys leave the IS on or turn in on when you think you might need it?

A big thank you to all of you! Your comments were very helpful and I decided to keep the D-lux4 for the macro, zoom and super tiny size and add the X1 to augment my dslrs when I want something light and portable.

I have been a Nikon shooter d70, d200 and d300. I was given a deluxe for my birthday and am really liking the Leica look, feel and IQ. I find myself shooting at the not zoomed position and rarely use the zoom. I'm considering upgrading to the X1 (cannot justify M9) and would like to hear comments from others who have compared the the dlux4 and the x1. Thanks ...Tom
