Voigtländer NOKTON 50mm F1.2: Cosina presents fast lens with M bayonet
The Voigtländer NOKTON 50mm F1.2 aspherical VM expands Cosina’s lens portfolio for the Leica M bayonet. The model will be available in Europe from September for 1,099€.
Main features of the Voigtländer 50mm F1.2

The fast standard lens consists of eight lenses in six groups – two elements have an aspheric surfaces, another element is made of special glass with anomalous dispersion. Twelve aperture blades provide a nearly circular opening and makes it possible to create images with a very soft and clear bokeh. The minimum focusing distance is 70cm.
The Voigtländer Nokton is 49mm long, has a diameter of about 64mm and weighs only 345g.
As accessories two different optional lens hoods are available:
- The model LH-8 can also be used for other Voigtländer optics
- The new model LH-10 offers even better stray light shielding
