And I would reduce the contrast a bit. I think there is too much "no detail at all" black, and the highlight on the beard shouldn't be blown out. I am sure your file has much more information. I would make it even a bit grittier and then let a hint of color seep back in by overlaying a color layer. ( Maybe 15-20% opacity?) That halo will probably not be noticable in print.
