As you might expect, the big update is M9 compatibility.  Some notes:  1. There is no change here for M8 users.  2. CornerFix profiles generated from M8 images will not work for the M9 - the optics are totally different. Well, actually, they will "work" but the results will just be nasty. You have to recreate your profiles on the M9.  3. CornerFix will work on either compressed or uncompressed M9 DNGs. If you use compressed DNGs however, I recommend that as on the M8, you let CornerFix write out the corrected files uncompressed.  4. Unfortunately, Leica have changed the MakerNote format in the M9 files, so CornerFix can't read an M9 MakerNote, or update the EXIF with estimated aperture information. Carl is on the case, but unless Leica give us the format (unlikely!!!!), it likely to take a while.  5. Snow Leopard users should be aware that there is a known bug in Snow Leopard 10.6.0 that can result in CornerFix (as well as quite a few other apps) crashing, especially if you have a log window open. The error message will include something about "_nssavepanelcontextend". This bug should be fixed in the Snow Leopard 10.6.1 update, available from Apple as of this morning. Â There should be new version available with the workaround in the next few days, that will also have some M9 specific tweaks to improve image quality in the corners, especially for high ISO images.
