  4. 3200 for me. I see some colour degredation at 6400. Gordon
  5. That one is an expensive version of the TC1411 Sigma one which comes with the rebranded Sigma 100-400 The only Leica lens for which it can be used.
  6. ... schnief. Marc - benqui - und auch sonst niemand kundig? Na ja, ein Ersatzprojekt für heute wurde leicht gefunden. 😎
  7. Sure, why would you go into a camera store looking for a best friend?.............Many people in the biz I know/knew in NY/US browsed B+H and yes some bargains were found and gear bought but I couldn't, the place gives me a headache. For my cine needs, cameras, lenses et-al I've always gone through one firm, Abel Cine in NY, friends and colleagues for close to three decades and I guess I spent more than a couple of nice sailboats or maybe a house's worth with them over time. Probably would have saved some by shopping at B+H but personal / professional long term relationships mean much more to me. Same with stills "stuff", amongst others I used Stan Tamarkin when he was in NYC then followed Dan when he moved the firm to Chicago........Now in Europe I shop at one Leica Store 600kms from me, another Leica and Nikon store "only" 200kms from me hardly convenient but they know me well so I stick with them and for used stills gear I go to Jo Greier first to try to find what I am looking for. I vastly prefer dealing with small firms, for personal or professional needs.
  8. Very interesting comparisons here, appears to be a halo lens for Sigma:
  9. Hömma, jetzt, wo ich das wegen Dir extra terminlich geschoben habe....also!
  10. M9M + Orion-15, a 28mm LTM lens with a rather high IQ on the monochrome: Rotterdam
  11. Light Lens Lab 50/1.2 (1966), photo taken with M10-P, SOOC jpeg, slightly cropped and adjusted using iPhone.
  12. Thank you, Michael. That one is my best friend, soulmate and spouse, Barbara.
  13. Really surprised that all of this is happening and people are trying to justify themselves how the cameras like this are still worth it (both M11 & Q3). I have Q2 which froze once in a period of a few years, luckily when it didn't matter. My M10 Monochrom works like a charm from day one. What to expect from Leica going forward? I don't see myself "upgrading" from these two cameras anytime soon.
  14. Damn, just found out there's works on the line Antwerp-Dordrecht on April 20 and they're running a bus service. The attractiveness of public transport directly from Belgium just went down below zero 😢 Closest train station with train service to Rotterdam will be Roosendaal or Lage Zwaluwe. I might still consider that, we'll see.
  15. Ön, limhamn (wet "winter"), sunset CPH area from Ön M10-P, 90/2,8
  16. Habe mich angemeldet, danke für Deine Initiative. Kann aber sein das bis dahin noch was anderes Vorrang hat. Schöne Ostern.
  17. A scene in Hawai'i that is not ever used on the tourist brochures. Wilhelmina Ridge. SL2 + APO-Summicron-SL 50mm F/2
  18. In my Q3 I have set two user profiles - essentially a Vivid -1 saturation and a Mono HC. When using them, if I change from the 60mp frame to 36mp (i.e 28mm to 35mm equivalent frame), it also moves the camera from any user profile I'm in back to the default one. So every time I want to re-frame, I have to change all the other values = lose the shot. This seems counter-intuitive. I want all of the user profile parameters to remain, but be able to change the frame size (without having to set up profiles just for frame size). Am I missing something?
