I am selling my 1982 Summilux-R 80mm (3-cam) lens as I have now re-acquired an M 75/1.4 to use on my M9 bodies. I have happily used this on the M10 and Sony A7II for the past two years, especially for many successful portraits. It is NOT immaculate; there are definite signs of use, particularly on the aperture ring and the edge of the integral hood (pictured) - the glass and aperture blades are flawless however. The focus ring is slightly on the stiff side, but this is a recognised characteristic of this legendary lens, and it has never bothered me. In view of the slightly scruffy appearance of the lens I am asking for only £1300 - the standard sum seems to be about £15-1600. Includes Leica leather case and the correct front and rear caps. Payment by bank transfer please, followed by signed-for delivery, though cash and handover in London are quite possible.
Like its brother, the M75/1.4, this wonderful lens is capable of sublime images, and works beautifully on the 240, M10 and SL (with adapters, not included) as well as on the R cameras of course.
