Das habe ich mit meinem Hinweis im Eröffnungsthread gemeint ... "man achte bitte auf den Familiennamen"

Das hatte ich auch gegoogelt ... denke aber ehr, dass es sich um einen Zufall handelt. Nur dass er sich auch als Ozeanograph ausgibt, ist etwas strange!

Diese Email kam heute Nacht ... "Hello, I have just made the payment and PayPal emailed me with some confirmations noting that there would be a temporary hold on the money I sent because of the excess payment that i made which was the money for pick up to ensure that both the buyer and seller are safe. Please check your PayPal email address(jochen.machwart@onlinehome.de) inbox/junk folders for the PayPal confirmation emails. Please I will need you to help me send the pick up fee to my pick up agent so they can be able to book a pick up time with you ASAP and PayPal will put the money through as well, as I am sure you won't let the M9 be picked up until the money goes into your account. "Wie gesagt, klingt alles zunächst sehr logisch und vertrauenswürdig." Ich bezog diese Aussage auf die ersten beiden Emails, wo ich tatsächlich noch keinen Verdacht geschöpft habe. Im übrigen habe ich auf ebay kleinanzeigen schon ungezählte Anzeigen als Betrugsversuch gemeldet. Meist bei Angeboten für Nikon Coolscan 5000, der besonders beliebt bei Betrügern zu sein scheint, aber auch bei diversen Leica-Offerten ...

Ich habe aktuell im Anzeigenmarkt mehrer Angebote stehen (mittlerweile verkauft). Vorgestern meldete sich ein Interessent, der einen Artikel kaufen wollte. Seine Anfrage war in Englisch und klang auch zunächst sehr glaubhaft. Was allerdings dann folgt, überzeugte mich davon, dass es sich um einen Betrugsversuch handelt müsse. Ich stelle die Schreiben unten ein, damit andere Anbieter gewarnt sind. Mich würde auch interessieren, ob jemand schön ähnliche Erfahrungen hier gemacht hat. Hier die Schreiben des vermeintlichen Interessenten ... man achte bitte auf den Familiennamen "Full Name: Kevin Crook Email Address: kevincrook101@gmail.com Message: Hello, I want to buy this leica and I will like to know the condition and the lowest price too. Please I can only pay using PayPal and after I have made the payment, I will arrange for the pick up okay. Thank you, regards Kevin Crook" Ich teilte ihm mit, dass meine M8 bereits verkauft sei, ich aber noch eine M9-P zum Verkauf anbiete: "Can I please had full details and pictures of the M9-p?" Habe ihm daraufhin die Infos und Fotos von der M9-P geschickt. Seine Antwort darauf: "Thank you for your response, I am an oceanographer and I am currently on sea at the moment. I am buying the M9 as a surprise gift for my son because his birthday is close. He won't know anything about it until it gets delivered to him on his birthday. I can only pay through PayPal as I don't have access to my bank account online/internet banking, but I have my bank account attached to my PayPal account and this is why I insisted on paying you through PayPal. So please get back to me with your PayPal email address and phone number so I can proceed with the payment and after I have made the payment, I have a pick up agent that will come around for verification and to pick it up after you have received the funds. Thank You, Regards Kevin Crook" Ich habe ihm daraufhin meine PAYPAL Adresse und habe den zu zahlenen Betrag genannt ... daraufhin kam gestern diese Email: "Hello, I was about to make the payment when I had a little problem with the pick-up. I tried to book a pick up time with my pick up agent, but they asked me to pay first before they can make the booking. They only accept MoneyGram transfer for payment, they don't accept PayPal or bank transfer, I tried to send the money online but it could not go through due to some technical problems. I wanted to ask if it was okay for me to include my pick up agent's fee in the payment I am about to send to you through PayPal, my pick up agent charged 500 euros for shipping and insurance of the M9 plus case and some other items i got for my son, please can I include their money in the payment I want to send then after I have made the payment, you will help me forward the money to my agent through MoneyGram transfer. I would have done this myself without bothering you but the for the fact that I am on sea and there's no way i can find a MoneyGram agent to make the transfer to my pick-up agent, I just wanted to seek your consent before going ahead with the payment. PS: The shipping company's Head Quarters is in United States and any fees to be paid is sent out to their head quarters by the payee, so the money for pick up will be sent to their Head Quarters through MoneyGram transfer (this can be done from any post office) or you can try do it online at http://www.moneygram.com maybe it would work from your side okay. Thank you, regards Kevin Crook" Daraufhin habe ich mal gegoogelt und bin auch auf diese Masche gestossen. Es läuft immer so: der Interessent lässt sich die PAYPAL Adresse vom Verkäufer geben und kündigt an, den Betrag zu überweisen. Aber aus irgendeinem Grund gibt es wohl Probleme mit dem Versender, den der Käufer selbst organisiert hat. Er bittet einen dann, den Betrag per "MoneyGram" (oder Western Union) an eine noch durchzugebende Adresse zu schicken. Den Betrag überweisst er zusätzlich auf das PAYPAL-Konto des Verkäufers. Stimmt der Verkäufer zu, so kommt ein gefaktes Email, welches vorgaukelt, dass der Betrag auf dem PAYPAL-Konto eingegaben ist. Dies soll wiederrum den Verkäufer veranlassen, den Betrag an das Logistikunternehmen per MoneyGram zu überweisen. Wie gesagt, klingt alles zunächst sehr logisch und vertrauenswürdig. Aber spätestens dann, wenn man aufgefordert wird, per MoneyGram irgendwohin Geld zu schicken, sollten die Alarmglocken läuten! Also Vorsicht vor solchen Betrugsmaschen. Viele Grüße, Jochen

Noch eine Frage ... was hälst Du von der Meade LX850? Ich hätte die Möglichkeit, diese für €4.000 zu bekommen. Verwendest Du für die Himmelsbeobachtung ein Refraktorteleskop oder ein Spiegel-, Maksutov - Cassegrain, Schmidt - Cassegrain oder Dobson-Telskop? Liebäugle schon seit langem mit einem Refraktor von Meade. Die haben mittlerweile auch eine "günstige" Baureihe. Wäre es denn auch möglich, Aufnahmen direkt durch das Teleskop mit der Leica aufzunehmen? Danke und schöne Grüße, Jochen

Interessant ... hast Du mal eine Aufnahme von dem gesamten Aufbau inkl. Leica M8, die Du hier einstellen könntest? Danke und viele Grüße, Jochen

Finde das unheimlich spannend und wäre nie auf die Idee gekommen, mit meiner M8 oder M9 den Sternenhimmel zu fotografieren. Aber dazu ne Frage (hoffentlich keine blöde) ... verwendest Du eine Einrichtung zur genauen Nachführung, wie sie moderne Teleskope verwenden (z.B. MEADE StarLock ), oder hast Du die M8 einfach auf einem Stativ moniert und belichtest nacheinander die Aufnahmen? Gibt es für gängige Teleskope Adapter zum Anschluss von Leica Digitalkameras? Finde das Thema wie gesagt sehr spannend und würde es gerne auch mal versuchen. Dazu auch ein Link zu den tollen Nachtaufnahmen von Max Seigal: Portfolio — Max Seigal Photography VG, Jochen
