  1. Hello all. Please advise how to setup bak button focus on the SL....or.......page number in the manual ...or..... and any youtube videos on the subject.. Thanks in advance Roger
  2. Leica Brothers. Using my Leica 120mm lens on my S 006 in conjunction with a Lee filter lens. I see subjects that may benefit by using a filter. The Lee 72mm adaptor is fitted to the lens however to focus... the filter ring comes into contact with the forward moving centre focus element only by a couple of millimetres. This prevent correct focus. Any one had this issue and how was it resolved...... Regards Roger
  3. With my Leica S 006 and the SF 64 there is a real difficulty when trying the remove the flash from the camera. So much so that when trying to release an earlier SF58 there was damage done to the alignment of the hot shot.... any ideas...and is the an FEC setting on the S ..thanks in advance...
  4. Hello All I've had this issue many ti mes with my S 006. The R/H bottom red light when is flashes means the battery is completely flat. These S batteries are faulty with short service life. I have found that when the camera fails (red light) would lead one to think that a recharge would restore the battery to a working level, not so, well not so most of the time. The battery charger's yellow and red light will flash meaning (from the manual) the battery is overcharged. So put the battery away install a new one and the camera will start working Is the battery stuffed, well yes and no. Try recharging it weeks or months later charge may become normal and it will work in the camera however, is now very unreliable.... Warranty replacement should be sought but Mr Leica makes things hard for replacements..
  5. Hello There. I have found the solution to be a VILTROX Macro Ring Lite model JY 670C. The 72 mm lens adaptor will screw into the lens thread of the 120 mm lens. The only downside is that you may have to adjust focus distance of the subject as the front of the lens may contact with the lens adaptor. Available online for around $100AUD's and never a problem with the Chinese knockoff but my two Leica SF 58's failed and were taken back for a refund...
