  1. Reseat the transmitter on the Q. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The FlashQ is just a rudimentary radio trigger for off-camera flash. It doesn't interfere with any of the Q's operability. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I use the flash Q. For the price, it's great. But I got 2 issues with it. 1. There is no lock to keep the transmitter on the hot shoe. It can inadvertently dislodge from the hot shoe. 2. Sometimes I need to reseat the transmitter for the flash to fire when I press the shutter button. I notice that I have to do this when I turn the camera back on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Checkout "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson. You should be able to borrow it from your local library. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. ECohen, If you like to share photos without having to email or via CDs or DVDs but at the same time limit the accessibility, you may want consider a NAS (network attached storage). This allows others per your permission to view the photos remotely be it from a mobile device or a laptop. Look at Synology's products especially the software that it comes with. Note that you would have to buy the Hard disks separately. Another benefit of this is that you can mirror a HDD to another in the same NAS box for back up and redundancy. I hope this helps. 6. It works well and the price is unbeatable especially if you just need a simple wireless trigger.
  7. barjohn, How is the Chinese knockoff of the ACAM-301? Thanks
  8. I don't think you can trick this while recording. But you can try a frame rate conversion software, eg. Final Cut, to convert the recorded video from 60hz to 50hz and see if the conversion eliminates the "flickered" frame automatically. You can also edit manually. Note that if you do convert from 60hz to 50hz, 1 frame will be dropped every 6 frames. The result will be a non-smooth video especially if it has high motion content. If the video is more or less static the non-smoothness may not be obvious.
  9. I thought you got the Cactus V6. If so, how does the flashQ compare with V6 in terms of reliability?
  10. Think tank retrospective 7. Discrete and houses an extra mirrorless camera or other accesories and an ipad.
  11. I did this week. I also received a call from Leica store in Bellevue,WA and they said that there are some coming in the next few weeks.
  12. Thanks for confirming! I'm getting the Cactus V6.
  13. Did you actually try the Cactus V6 on the Q? I'm interested in getting it.
