My old Q 2015 went three time in Germany to clean sensor, no gaffer’s tape.

Anyone know if with Leica Q-P the issue of sensor dust in solved? I red after 2017 leica improved wheather sealing in Q line... I had Q1 2015 and I had this problem two times before sell it. Thanks ben

Ok... try to take picture with slow shutter speed, in this situation you don't release the shutter suddenly to avoid blurry photos. And more try to take more picture, one after the other, there will always be a moment when you see the photo you just took, even just for a second, but the viewfinder is no longer fluid. I did not dream of this problem, I have been working with Q since 2015, before firmware 3.0, off was OFF. Then they have it become a fake OFF. On the Q2 indeed they put it back, also in SL they fix it, not on Q or QP. It was enough to add the auto preview function until pressed, without disabling OFF...

That you know this problem is also on the Q-P ?? I know they are the same as cameras but I would like confirmation ... Thank you.

Same of Q1... no good, after a 15 shot at high speed (1,5") there is a problem...

@dancook but after how many second you can start to take photo again? Q1 1 was very bud in this, Is the buffer quicker now we can use faster sd card? Or now so many MP make that the situation is the same of Q1? Thanks ben

Dominique I think you didn’t update firmware 3.0 3.0 brings a lots of improvements, but add this hidden feature: auto review won’t be truly off.

It looks like they refresh shutter button, the selector C and S always became very hard, they changed mine three times, they changed the whole top cap, but after a few months always became hard. I think they fixed it.

Leica fix auto review problem on SL with firmware 3.3. I wonder if they will do the same with the Q “Furthermore, an additional option ‘Shutter Pressed’ has been added to Auto Review settings, and the option ‘Off’ no longer enables the camera to show Auto Review while the shutter release is pressed. These revised settings allow photographers to focus on the action in fast action moments where there may not be time to review each picture.”

After the firmware 3.0 me and some other Q users found the gift that doesn't allow to disable the auto review of the photos, a very annoying (and useless!!) function. I personally could not work anymore. Today I found the way to disable this trouble! It is enough shoot with a slow burst. In this way the burst is not fast and so you can take one picture at a time, but you disability can disable auto review of the picture in EFV or LCD If you do not hold down too much the burst does not start, or you take some more photos than necessary, but at least the vision in the viewfinder remains fluid. Always hoping that with a firmware we can get back to the truth auto review OFF, like before. Try! ben

The preview in EFV is a gift from leca after the firmware. A gift that nobody asked. If they do not fix the problem within the year I will certainly sell the camera. A pity because with the 3.0 they had added the new menu, was e perfect camera. Not now.
