  1. Taken in my home town. I found the Agfa quite grainy in Adox FX39 so will change to Microphen as a trial. The grain is no major problem as I can reduce it in Lightroom but it would be if I wanted to go larger than maybe 25x20cm. Leica M6 + 35mm Summarit-M f2.5 - Agfa APX400 Gerry

    Rollerblade girl

I spotted this rather distinctive young lady at an open-air fitness event in my city and simply asked if I could take a photograph of her. I just love her unconventional look and individualism which challenges society norms. She said that Rollerblade Derby was the most important thing in her life. To me she demonstrates that there is more to young people than drugs and violence. Leica M240 + 35mm Summarit-M f2.5 @ 400iso Gerry

  6. I am still editing images taken on my visits to Paris. This is the latest to be chosen. Taken on Tri-X in 1999 using an M6 with a 50mm Summicron f2 lens. You can see my 'Streets of Paris' portfolio at https://gwpics.myportfolio.com/the-streets-of-paris I am hoping to get a book together in the relatively near future, so comments are welcome. Gerry
  7. Interesting image Shlomo. I saw it posted elsewhere (? Facebook) and thought "I hope it is his office window, I would hate it outside of my home". I am intrigued by what is happening with the sky? Gerry
  8. Both great of course. Thank you for your comments, I will loo at the image and possibly crop. Gerry
  9. Thank you so much Hepcat
  10. Thank you so much Jankap. Gerry
  11. I have just watched a review of his work on YouTube for about an hour. So modest, so great. Somehow it is impossible to recreate his look using Lightroom and all the plug-ins in the world. I am a great admirer as you may have guessed. Gerry PS - if we ever get to meet I promise there will be ginger biscuits!!!
