jwarren started following firmware 3.1 update

I did the red button thing. Now spinning circle in the viewfinder, nothing on the screen. 15 minutes and no change. Was not given a 'yes/no' screen at all. Yikes.....

LUF Admin: The directions on the Leica website for this firmware update are not correct. Your notes above worked perfectly. Many thanks!

Forgive my naiveté or ignorance, but why would someone do such a thing? What's the motivation for someone to claim that a camera that's not stolen was stolen? I'm not suggesting that it wouldn't happen, but I can't figure out how someone would profit from doing so. -
Luxury Camera Bags by Thorsten von Overgaard
jwarren replied to Herr Barnack's topic in Customer Forum
Adam is the "workshop manager", who assists Thorsten. Perhaps a few strongly-worded notes to Adam might make a difference. I don't believe I've ever seen a more grotesque bag than those blue croc bags. The whole concept is disturbing, and on top of that, they look like the Queen Mother's purse, circa 1967.- 587 replies

It's been a very good few years for good old Leica. https://global.handelsblatt.com/edition/402/ressort/companies-markets/article/leica-shoots-to-record-sales

Honest question ahead: When one returns a camera, is a full refund the norm? I've never even considered returning a camera to the retailer, but I repeatedly see comments here that indicate "Sending it back to B&H/Amazon, or taking it back to the (whichever) retailer." Curious...

Let me make sure I understand your post: You took my compliment of RickP (specifically about the small interior still life shot) and turned it into self-promotion about yourself, and an insult of RickP? Just checking....

Sharp, 'dimensional', and beautiful smooth bokeh!
