You can take out the film "mid-roll" without loosing the top picture. This has to be done in complete darkness and it requires the dark slide that ejects when inserting a new pack. I always keep a few dark slides. From the dark slide you need to pull off the little tab. In complete darkness then insert the dark slide back into the film cartridge on top. I've done this before with instax mini and also Polaroid instant film. It does take some fiddling in the dark. It's indeed that when one puts such a cartridge back in the camera, the camera starts counting from 10 again. Also a big thanks to Ian and Nathalie for the hosting, and Pieter for the drive. The Lartigue exhibition was impressive, indeed not to be missed. The Folon museum in itself is also worth a visit. I will definitely visit the beautiful park at La Hulpe Castle again. One of the pictures taken in the park (X-Vario).

Oct. 7, Polaroid I-2 (auto mode with I-Type color film) inside a shopping center in Aachen Germany.

In Belgium, 29.50€ and temporarily sold out at 2 stores. The price of the color negative film Kodak Pro Image 100 has doubled compared to 2019 and the Kodak ColorPlus has even more than tripled. Fortunately, I still have stock in my freezer of various slide and color negative films.

I found a good review of the Sofort 2, https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/reviews/leica-sofort-2-review . I have no connection with this website. It is mentioned in the review that only printed images can be send. The same is valid with the sister camera of Fujifilm. See the YouTube channel "matejphoto" and search for the mini Evo with a possible solution. Maybe it also works the same with the Sofort 2. I don't know if this could damage the camera/printer and it may void warranty.

Following your post, I tried 1 time on my iPhone and it works although it is a bit slow. Uninstalling and reinstalling the PHOTOS App might help in some cases. However, I have no experience with Android but you could possibly contact Leica Customer Service. For Germany this is customer.care@leica-camera.com.

Es handelt sich in der Tat um ein totes Pixel. Ich hatte das 2012 selbst und habe den Leica-Kundendienst kontaktiert. Sie bitten um die Übermittlung von Bildern. Soweit ich mich erinnere, geben sie nach der Untersuchung einen Kostenvorschlag ab. Ich habe die Kamera eingeschickt und sie haben dann ein "Remapping" des Sensors vorgenommen. Die Kosten betrugen damals etwa 400 €.

I'm in the EU and if I buy from eBay outside the EU I have to pay import duties, VAT on the item (varies) and shipping, plus handling fees. It results in paying approx. 30% extra. In the past, before Brexit, I used to buy stuff or services from eBay UK but that's over now. It is still possible and eBay calculates the shipping and additional fees but it became too expensive. I have no idea how the process is when you live in the UK and buy from an eBay country in the EU.
