Thank you Hank & Rodrigue. Rodrigue, The background color is a result of the lighting and the water itself. All this water is from snow melt over years and the chemical makeup of the volcanic soil. The lake itself is over 1900 feet deep which is amazing.

Phantom Ship is a rock formation within the crater. Crater Lake was formed by volcanic eruptions. VL 114
