when the saved profiles are gone, after you removed the battery for a while, the internal battery, that is in charge to save the settings might be dead. I had this in my 601 an Leica told me this. They can fix it of course. -
Ich Tether seit 2005 und mit Lightroom hat es nie wirklich zuverlässig funktioniert. Capture One ist der einzige Weg. Mit der SL2 und der SL2-S funktioniert es reibungslos. Die 601 ging nie wirklich zu tethern, egal was man versucht hat. Grüße, Robert

vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage. Es gibt derzeit Ungereimtheiten bezüglich der neuen Firmware 3.0 und den SL-Objektiven. Dieses wurde bereits an unsere Entwickler gemeldet und es wird an eine Lösung gearbeitet, bitte etwas Geduld. -

good to hear you figured it out. If you rely on tethering you have to stay away form newly released Os-Updates at the beginning. I once happened to me with my GFX, I initially updated the system and wasn't able to tether with that machine for many days until Phaseone released a fix.

I had my SL repaired / checked two times in 2021 at Leica Wetzlar, the first time I realized the USB-Port was not working, the repair return took not even a week. Shortly after that the Camera hit the floor and it had to be sent in another time...It took one week again. So no complains fro me...but I live in Munich...

I had the 35mm 2.0 and the 65mm 2.0. AFwise there was noting to complain, really well made little lenses. But I was not happy with the overall look, too sharp even at 2.0 and kind of "harsh".

read about "Floating Iso" its meant for zooms like the 24 -90 to keep exposure the same throughout the range of the lens as ist is 2.8 at 24 and 4.o at 90mm Robert
