  1. great decision on the angle and pose
  2. These are great! No "model releases" required. The one with the city-scape background is very classic.
  3. 1.) Superia 800, MA, 50 Summicron. 2.) M9, 35 Summicron Thanks for looking.
  4. Excellent set. My mother grew up in Brooklyn. The fourth shot is quite documentary of the times - wih the mothers out watching the kids.
  5. First one is very cool - thanks for posting them
  6. Very good choices on the shot. Well balanced and intense
  7. Really nice composition and I love the sun star in her glasses.
  8. Thank you Wayne. Great night time film for sure. -unfortunately seems as though the price is going up in Japan.
  9. Hi - my experience for what it's worth. I have two MPs an M3, an MA and a iiif. (used often) I don't hear a click on the MP and to be honest, I don't feel much of a difference in the rewind between these models. ( maybe my MPs are unique?)
  10. 800 superia, 50 summicron, MP Shibuya, Tokyo. No- he's not homeless, or dead...just passed out at 9am after what must have been a LONG night – missing the last train home. One of those nights, were you keep drinking after leaving the club when you should have stopped. The empty can of Chu-hai, most likely purchased at the near-bye 24hr convenience store, evidence for all to see. Passers-by probably feeling lucky not to be in his shoes.
  11. Well - to the original post from Mr Doc - I have to say that film, for me, compliments the Leica rangefinder and together they add a joy to the photographic experience. Even if I didn't get a half-worthy shot it is ALWAYS a pleasure and luxury to shoot film on a Leica. And while I appreciate my hassy and rolli, it's not the same. Surely, the media/format and equipment shouldn't make a difference, but if it feels right, and makes you smile, then so be it.I keep the M9 and MM for travel or projects where I'm taking someone's time to set up a shot, and must review results on the spot. Otherwise, it's daily film. Attached a few pics, which were not previously posted to other fora.
