  1. Thanks for organising it Pete. It was good seeing you again and great to put faces to some names I've known on here for years. I learnt a lot about military aircraft too.
  2. One of the local farmers, persuaded to do a few numbers, has a voice like honey and as you might guess from his size: no shortage of power.
  3. Some of my friends play regularly at Martin's bar in Kildoon, Co Kildare - a real rural community local pub where everyone knows each other and closing time licensing laws are but a theory. M10, Summicron 35, ISO 3200 Tuning up in the toilet corridor.
  4. 200 ISO For that photo I metered off the signage. For the vase of flowers, I metered off the dark area of the vase. For the house, I metered its highlights. My meter is just a phone app - it might not be the most accurate.
  5. Absolutely. And even though it's an expensive film I'm happy to support them in this bold move. I have another roll to experiment with, I think I'll send this one back to Harman for processing and scanning.
  6. Thanks, I'll collect the negs from the lab and have a play around scanning them myself.
  7. First impressions: very difficult to use, seems to overexpose and underexpose at the same time. Quite grainy, but that might be the quick and dirty develop and scan by my local high street store. I'll send the next roll back to Harman to see if there is a difference.
  8. Well I just had to. Which camera now? The M6 would have been ideal but I sold that. I'll try the M2.
