  1. In the spotlight with Voigtländer 35/1.2
  2. To each his own I guess but I personally can’t see the point of this OVF since you need to lift the camera up so much anyway to look through it. It’s just another 5cm to lift the built in EVF to your eyes and you won’t need to bend your neck.
  3. Is it widely available yet? Here in Sweden it doesn't seem to be available from what I can tell.
  4. According to some news sites, DPReview for instance, Venus Optics has announced a new wide angle zoom 12-24 f/5.6 at the CP+ trade show that will be made in several mounts including Leica M! Has anyone heard anything more about this or is it just a mistake, perhaps a typing error and what they meant was actually Leica L?
  5. In the video Peter Karbe says that this is the 3rd APO Summicron, did I hear it incorrectly or have I missed something? 35, 50, 75 90 makes four.
  6. For your second question, Panasonic has both a f/2.8 and a f/4 70-200 zoom in L mount so if you want AF I think you should check them out although the fast one is probably to large and heavy for your liking
  7. This is a discussion based on hearsay, some sample images or other more solid references would be good
  8. That was clearly meant as a joke but then internet took over and it became something else...
  9. I think you should definitely look into the new Sigma I-series, small well built with high IQ and reasonably priced.
  10. Maybe also the SL2 and SL2-S has some affect here, the number of Leica cameras you can use M lenses on has definitely increased compared to when the M240 was sold.
  11. The Summarit 75 f/2.4 also has a MFD of 0.7 meter but the longer focal length will help you and it is a very good lens for its price. Notice that this lens is no longer produced but it might still be available in some stores since it wasn't that long ago since it was discontinued, otherwise you always have the second hand market. Also note that the previous version that is f/2.5 only has a MDF of 1.0 meter so it's not as good in this respect.
  12. I believe that only happened to the M9 CCD sensor and never to any of the M240 or M10 generation cameras (but maybe that is what you implied with the question? 🤔🙂)
