Went to the Tate Britain last Sunday, just before the new working week began. Quite interesting, but all the while, was thinking about the photography exhibition, Exposed, which I think is still running at the Modern. Also saw the David Bailey prints, and also flipped through a Nadav Kander book, which I was very close to buying, but didn't in the end. Instead picked up a Winogrand book 'Arrival and Departures' from a small bookshop in Old Street.

I was away on assignment to Norway in November, to a place called Haugesund, and after work, managed to take a couple of photographs. The afternoon light in Norway is simply... breathtaking, especially when compared to London. I scanned this with my newly arrived Epson V700, using the supplied Silverfast software, and am pleased with the results so far, for web use, it is more than adequate i think. Leica M6, 35lux pre-asph and Portra 400VC. Thanks for looking.

Went to Oxford street yesterday to check out the sales... and managed to pick up a 2TB harddrive for £80 (..to keep all the precious M9 images..) , but was shocked at how many people had the same intention..! We took the side streets for most of the trip out, and had roast duck in Chinatown after.. The wide angle became a very useful tool for this shot. Leica M9 + 15mm Heliar at f8.

Hi all, Have been silently reading the forums, and thought I'd start sharing my photos again. Shot about 6 to 8 rolls of Kodak Portra 400VC when the Pope visited London in September. Hi guys, just been back from a trip to Taipei, took my Leicas and brought back some pictures. I put together a set of 58 photographs to tell a story on my website. I saw this woman probably checking the LCD on her daughter's toy 'digital camera' and thought she had quite an interesting look. In hindsight, I think I could have done better with the PP and probably should have converted to b&w...the blue green cast is a little distracting. Anyway, all feedback is much appreciated, do let me know what I could have done better. Thanks. Leica M8 35 cron ASPH no filter
