Auch wenn meine Zeit mit der T vorbei ist - ich habe noch einige Bilder, die ich von Zeit zu Zeit hier posten werde.

Well, here's to another former T owner. I could not take all the uncertaincy and missing dedication to the T by Leica any more, or at least it made me look around - and I realized that my focus of photographic fields has shifted quite a lot in the last two years and there are better cameras for what i do now. So my T is now up for sale here on the forums - i had secretly hoped for a professionalization of the system ever since the SL came out, but that does not seem to happen it seems. So long my dear friend T, you've been a great company for quite a bit and gave me great images but it's time to move on.

Wenn Leica die Kunden weiter so hinhält, werden Sie bald zahlreiche Alublöcke einschmelzen dürfen. Keine Lust, ein Totes System zuhause liegen zu haben oder viermal so teure FF-Bodys für APS-C Objektive zu kaufen. That's actually not correct, even the Leica website still refers to the "Leica T" and "Lenses for Leica T", so the only products with the TL name are the two new lenses. Why would they name the App like the mount though?

Es wird sie wohl geben laut Leica (oh, da war wieder ein Programmierer übereifrig...):

nope, no chance. The T-System has been an investment for me because i did not want the bulk of full frame with excellent image quality. After spending almost 10,000€ on this system - about twice of what i would have spent on a Nikon FF with 24-120 and 50mm Zeiss 1.4 - i'd be seriously unhappy with having to buy an SL to keep using these APS-C lenses.

Hätte sonst keinen Sinn gemacht, vor wenigen Wochen das 60er Macro anzukündigen. Dann hätten sie die Linse auch direkt einstampfen können. Und Crop auf 10MP mit der SL ist für die T-Nutzer wohl auch eher abwegig. Die T hat ihre Daseinsberechtigung im Vergleich zur SL grade wegen der relativ großen Preisdifferenz und wird in Zukunft wohl so etwas wie ein Nebenprodukt/Abfallprodukt aus deren Weiterentwicklung sein. Zusätzlich scheint es mir so, als ob Leica einige der Objektive der T für die SL zu recyclen scheint, warum dann nicht auch umgekehrt? Das neue WW-Zoom für SL deckt z.B. den gleichen Brennweiten-Equivalent-Bereich ab wie das 11-23 bei der gleichen Blendenöffnung. Zufall? Mal schauen, was uns später erwartet - abgesehen davon hat Leica ja schon mit der Modellnummer 8854 in Taiwan eine Kamera registriert, die die Akkus der T aufnimmt - also keine Angst um die Zukunft

Eins hab ich noch, Leica T und 55-135 morgens im Herbst.

Schön, dass es hier wieder vermehrt um Bilder gehen soll - dann werde ich noch das eine oder andere aus mittlerweile über zwei Jahren mit der Leica T zeigen.
