  1. There is one available at Igor's Camera (USA). He's a dealer that I've bought from for almost 20 years. I have a 90 Emarit-M on it's way to me right now! Summilux-M ASPH 24/1.4 #4106518, c.1993, black, 11601, 6-bit, Germany, 12462 hood, UVa filter, case, box, Like NEW $4895. I love this lens! Dean
  2. That is delicious and delicate. An image upon which to meditate!
  3. S007 w/100-Summicron f/4.8, ISO400 Uncropped
  4. More from the files... S2 30-90 at 90mm, f6.8 ISO640 Same session: 120-S at f4.0
  5. The M forum is loaded with lens comparisons e.g., "Let's talk about the 20 different 28mm lenses we have available!" With claims about this lens better on that M variant, etc. I don't discount their sincerity... I used to have 5 variants of 35mm lenses for the M. But then, when I switched to digital it just seemed to matter less. Us S folks don't talk much about the lenses. There is a practical reason i.e., we don't have lots of choices, but still we don't opine on their character. Why not? Is the S just so good that we accept that performance is the problem of the photographer and not the gear? Something else?
  6. Why not the Elmarit-ASPH II? Without the hood it is the smallest current lens. I bought one used for $2K... not exactly cheap but I'm really happy with it on the M11.
  7. S2, ISO640 f4.8. I probably used the APO-Elpro that was made for the 100-APO-Macro-R, with a custom stepup ring to attach to the S lens.
  8. S2 ISO640, 30-90S@f4.5 1/90th
  9. 24 'lux over the elmarit. The 24 and 35 lux are my goto lenses because they render like nothing else! Neither fit under a coat, and that's a reason to have at least one elmarir around.
  10. I don't recall if FOTOS works as a remote release.... Thanks.
  11. Same person four years earlier (S007 + 120-APO, ISO1600 (yep!), f2.5, 1/90th)
  12. S006 + 120-APO (ISO 200, f4.8, 1/125th). I did nothing except open in Lightroom. I have a dozen beautiful shots of this car.
  13. Original SL + 100-Summicron-S + adapter (ISO 200, f2.5, 1/250th). Nothing done but some cropping. Lightroom.
  14. On the "senior moment" side of things, I have an extra ground glass screen with crosshair, AND an extra gridded ground glass screen with cross hair. Yes, somehow I bought two of each over the 12 years that I've shot with an S. Now if only I had found an extra S3 or something like that! Interested folks can PM me. Crazy. Dean
  15. The tiltshift? I have yet to figure mine out! Perhaps it's just me... Advice on setups where I could experience its value? These lenses have such low resale value that I keep the ones I don't use.... just because!
