That should not play a role at all. Especially since Leica claims that with the M1 EVERY Leica M-lens can be used.

I love my CL and love the results it gives me. And I start to wonder if Leica won't market a successor camera because they realize that such a good camera might even more poach in the M-market. Wasn't that the case with the old film CL? They put it down rather quickly because it took away buyers from the M.

Are you sure that the WLAN functionality is active as a standard? Isn't ist just turned on when you want to use it?

Und gleichzeitig könnte man den Besuch dort verbinden mit einem Besuch (oder Gastbesuch) bei Leica Historica an diesem Wochenende in Wetzlar. (3G!)

I really like the Lumix 20-60 on my CL. It seems a bit large on first sight, but it handles quite well.

I wish Sigma made something like a 4-5.6/70-210 for APS-C in L-mount. That would be a nice, compact tele-zoom for the CL - and rather affordable.

Sigma definitely has a history of - let's say - "weird" cameras. Good, but ... well ... weird.

Also, mit Verlaub, das ist Unfug. Das TT 1.4/35 kann sicherlich nicht mit einem Leica mithalten, doch es erinnert definitiv nicht an "Palstikmusikinstrumente". Du solltest sowas nicht behaupten, ohne ein solches Objektiv selbst mal genutzt zu haben. Die Verarbeitung, die Haptik und das Wertgefühl von den M-Objektiven von TTArtisan ist ziemlich beeindruckend. Für jemanden, der gerne einmal mehrere Brennweiten für seine M ausprobieren würde oder hätte, für den sind diese Objektive ein echter Segen. Ich habe von Leica das Set Elmarit 21 - Cron 50 - Cron 90 - (135, nutze ich nur nie) und kann dank anderer Hersteller auch 24, 28, 35 und 75mm zudem noch sehr lichtstark ausprobieren, was ich mir von Leica nie im Leben alles leisten könnte.

This is one of the things I need to find out in a direct comparison. So far I am pretty happy about the performance (also sharpness) of the lenses.

First sample shots, all wide open at f/0.95... (taken on a Sony A7II). I'm really impressed! Focussing is perfect on my M out-of-the-box. Photos will follow...

Without any embarrassment I use an Altix 35mm viewfinder on my X1. And its always attached to it. Works pretty well.
