john_r_smith Posted July 5, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 5, 2006 John well I seem to have gone off colour photography a bit recently but I have to say this is terrific. What fantastic light, excellent framing and composition, a classic. Hey, the standard around here is just getting too high, I think I'm going to have to go underground for a while Worried of Cornwall

jlancasterd Posted July 6, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 6, 2006 There are at least two photos here - thanks to the lovely sunset and its reflection, the top half could be use on its own, and the bottom half could be split up. Well done! I minor criticism is that I would myself have digitised out the stray bits of foliage along the RH border.
hm1912 Posted July 7, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 7, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great shot. Pity my monitor isn't bit enough to see it without having to scroll down. Thanks for sharing.
jmr Posted July 7, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted July 7, 2006 Thanks for the feedback guys. I did consider removing the foliage on the right-hand side, as suggested by John, but decided, on balance, that it helped stop the eye wandering out of the frame. graham_mitchell Posted July 7, 2006 Share #10 Posted July 7, 2006 Great shot. Only criticism is that it doesn't look straight, i.e. it needs a small rotation to be level.
marc_dufour Posted July 7, 2006 Share #11 Posted July 7, 2006 Bittersweet. Mind is walking between the spectacular picture and the scene / figures. Marc
