firoze Posted July 4, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Shot in the town of Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds, England. I like how the cotton-bud clouds and the leaves of the tree compliment each other. Both the colour and the B&W have their own charm. What do you think? Thanks for looking, Regards. ed_oneal Posted July 4, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 4, 2006 Color photos are almost never the way I see colors. I like the B&W so much better. Ed
firoze Posted July 4, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted July 4, 2006 By the way, can anyone tell me how to leave a gap between the two images? I can find no option to do so. Thanks, Firoze.
lambroving Posted July 4, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 4, 2006 Firoze, Well, you've certainly found a good part of the World! Ron Schmidt and I will be there for three days prior to the end of this month. I usually stay here in a nearby village. Love the Cotswold limestone... CC is often hard to shoot in the summer because of all the cars in the High Street. Have you tried "The Eight Bells"? Welcome, dear visitor! firoze Posted July 4, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted July 4, 2006 Looks like a lovely place, William. Tell me more about it. I'll be visiting the area again in August, would be grateful for any other tips or info you might have, particularly from a photography point of view. Agree about the cars in CC, makes it very difficult to get a good shot. Regards.

lambroving Posted July 4, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 4, 2006 Firoze, You might want to consider staying here. Very quiet but central to the northern Cotswlds. http://www.malt-house.co.uk/index.asp and http://gallery.leica-users.org/Chipping-Campden If that's too dear, this place is run my a Morgan/Land Rover acquaintance. http://www.brymbo.com/home.htm "The Eight Bells" is here. http://www.eightbellsinn.co.uk/ Good photos in CC will be hard unless you get up early in the off-season. Which airline?
firoze Posted July 4, 2006 Author Share #9 Posted July 4, 2006 Thanks for the links William, I'll check them out. Your photos on the leica-users.org site are superb, learnt a thing or two from them. I was in the Cotswolds last month, covered most of the well known towns and villages. Lovely part of England. Also saw a bit of Devon and Cornwall. The airline is Air-India. Regards. elansprint72 Posted July 4, 2006 Share #11 Posted July 4, 2006 Firoze, B&W for me, beautiful sky. I don't know how to separate images either, maybe Andreas could post an idiot's guide to the new forum? Cheers, Pete.
andybarton Posted July 4, 2006 Share #12 Posted July 4, 2006 I don't think you can. They just get placed below each other. (Or next to each other if you insist on using Internet Exploder on a PC)
Guest flatfour Posted July 4, 2006 Share #13 Posted July 4, 2006 Firoze - It looks like the Lygon Arms in Broadway. My memory of Chipping Camden must be failing me.
lambroving Posted July 4, 2006 Share #14 Posted July 4, 2006 Hello Tony, Lygon Arms would be at his back in this photo. The Lygon Arms in CC that is. :-)
firoze Posted July 4, 2006 Author Share #15 Posted July 4, 2006 You're lucky Mark, to live in such a beautiful place. Anthony, it is C-C, not Broadway. Regards.
firoze Posted July 4, 2006 Author Share #16 Posted July 4, 2006 As regards leaving a gap between two images, I've thought of a solution: to attach the images in the text area. I'll try it out in another thread. Firoze.

I'll try it out in another thread. Firoze. You need a working knowledge of HTML img tags to do that. Not very satisfactory for most of us, I'm afraid.
