I see why you'd feel the original is not sharp enough, however I find the sharpening halos of you version too extreme. I'll see what I can get out of the original. I had only borrowed this M8 for the day and am terribly inexperienced with all this raw-conversion and alike.

Nice shot - I know the angle well. Like Stuart I feel it does need a bit of sharpening and a bit of punch, but IMO his version has swung a bit too far the other way.

What are you using to process? If it's LR then try simply using the LR preset "Punch" - it'll make a world of difference.

That to me is a considerable improvement Tim. It's always worth playing around with settings. Incidentally what time was the picture taken? Looks to me like it was late in the day as there is a pink/orange tinge indicating early evening light (and there's nothing wrong with that)?
