Excellent capture of the remarkable colours in this building, which we thought might have to be demolished exactly ten years ago, thanks to the attentions of some "Republican neighbours".

Glad to have another Mancunian snapper on the forum; we should organise a walkabout some day, there are at least four of us.

Cheers,

Pete.

Please let me know when you plan do do this - I'm a Mancunian myself (born in Heywood, school in Bury and with a degree in Chemistry from UMIST) and might be able to join you - I can get to Manchester in about 2.5 hours now that the A55 is complete.

John,

>I think that you are mistaken- the A55 is NEVER complete!

Maybe not - but it's a whole lot better than what we had previously!

>I think if we do this some time from September onwards there is more chance of getting >everyone on board, holidays, etc.

I'll be in Switzerland for the first half of September.
