B.Toews Posted September 7, 2014 Share #181 Posted September 7, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Here's my customized M4-P. The front and top are blacked out, and the red dot has been removed. It also has the MP anti-flare viewfinder upgrade, an M3-style lens release guard and the 75/135 framelines have been masked out. Abram Posted December 28, 2015 Share #188 Posted December 28, 2015 I'm quite happy with my M4-P. I have an early one from 1982 (brass, early frame lines), it's the Everest edition so it has a nice little logo on the top plate to go with all the other logos on the camera. It's in pretty bang-on shape but my RF often drifts out of vertical alignment for some reason. Still a solid machine and I expect it'll last for decades.
Trev Posted January 23, 2016 Share #189 Posted January 23, 2016 Got really lucky. Snagged this beauty a couple of days ago. Boxed, unused anniversary model. Shown here with 50mm Elmar M Put a couple of rolls through it today. Felt really great. a.noctilux Posted January 23, 2016 Share #192 Posted January 23, 2016 Almost the same batch of M4-P 1913-1983 ! When I have bought mine in 1984, I didn't use it much but have kept it for the beauty of the chrome compared to the M4 before it. One reason was a silver chrome M6 came one year later, that's another story. Arnaud
Trev Posted May 19, 2016 Share #193 Posted May 19, 2016 Ok so I love my M4-p Anniversary. Just acquired a Black M4-p. gotta say I really don't like it's looks. First one I've seen in the flesh. I'll keep it....probably..

coelacanth Posted February 16, 2017 Share #195 Posted February 16, 2017 Tho I have other bodies, M4-P is a bit special for me as it is my wife's birth year Leica that I got virtually mint a few years ago when we were getting married. Now it has gained a few "battle scars" and becoming truly mine. Still looooog way to go till it gets as beaten as my BP M4, but that camera came to me with patina. This one will wear (tho won't brass up) from scratch by me so that's a rather nice feeling.
Sjauch Posted March 30, 2017 Share #196 Posted March 30, 2017 Although I have an M7 & M6ttl for some reason this M4-P has become my favorite. Got it fully serviced after I picked it up and it's been my go to ever since. Untitled by Steven Jauch, on Flickr
Abram Posted April 14, 2017 Share #197 Posted April 14, 2017 I just got another M4-P myself, guess there was just something drawing me back to that camera. Mine will need a viewfinder cleaning but it was so inexpensive that I don't mind adding that cost. The M4-P is just a good solid working camera
Sjauch Posted August 5, 2017 Share #198 Posted August 5, 2017 Grabbed this M4-P about two months ago to go along with my black one. I've been waiting to drop it off for a cla. Apparently it's sat unused for quite a while and has sticky frame lines and the typical hazy viewfinder window. Very happy to have found one in like new condition. Really wonder if it's ever had film through it. a.noctilux Posted August 30, 2017 Share #200 Posted August 30, 2017 Grabbed this M4-P ... Really wonder if it's ever had film through it. If it was used or not, running film in it ? Look at the M's back door ... if the two round rubber used as bumpers when loading film have no marks at all.
