So a Google reveals it to be built in 1849 and "inspired by the Pharos of Alexandria". Amazing! Thanks for sharing. Judy and I have fond memories of this little, 1906, lighthouse in Ucluelet, on Vancouver Island's West Coast. The architecture doesn't compare but the scale is similar. Welcome, dear visitor!
