jenniferx Posted March 27, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 27, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Beautiful weather for a change here over the weekend. I got the dog out to the beach and had a walk around a local woodland as well as the harbour area. All Leica x2, some with either 1 or 2 elpro 2 added for increased magnification. Wood Anemone- the first I have seen this year. Early formation of a pine cone. Lichen and Moss Horsetail- these were rather larger than the species I am familiar with in my parents garden Flowering Currant- this is a wild bush of a non-native species typically dispersed by birds.

AlanT Posted March 27, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 27, 2017 Great images - I enjoyed them a lot. And I'm jealous - spring has been a real tease this year and hasn't quite come to the Boston area yet.

jenniferx Posted March 28, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted March 28, 2017 Thank you Stuart and Alan. Yes spring has properly kicked off here now! Every week there are new things to see (and photograph!)
fotografr Posted March 29, 2017 Share #6 Posted March 29, 2017 Another collection of remarkably beautiful, thoughtfully composed images. I love the effect the Elpros have on the background. These walks you take are certainly productive and show a rich variety of plants and vegetation. When you stop to take photos, I hope your dog doesn't get as bored and impatient as my wife does. Gorgeous sunset, too.
platypus Posted March 29, 2017 Share #7 Posted March 29, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Your photographs are so pleasing to look at, they have a great sense of calm and a delicacy of composition and colour. Very nice!
jenniferx Posted March 31, 2017 Author Share #8 Posted March 31, 2017 Thanks Francois and Dee I really like how the elpro's give a spun out sort of bokeh... I'm sure it's not to everyones taste but I have become quite fond of it! Henri (my dog) is the laziest creature on earth so I think that he just enjoys not having to actually move when I am taking pictures! Dee your comments are very much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time.
