FrankSL&M Posted March 25, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 25, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am currently using a Hadley pro for carrying SL and M10. I switch to L2 or Crumpler Kashgar Outpost for when I use M10 only. Anyone else carry two cameras? if so, what bag(s) do you use?

FrankSL&M Posted March 25, 2017 Author Share #8 Posted March 25, 2017 24-90 and M summilux 50.
DTM Posted March 25, 2017 Share #9 Posted March 25, 2017 24-90 and M summilux 50. I have the SL with the 24-90 attached and a M240 with the 35mm lux attached and they both fit in a Tenba DNA 10. I place the SL with the lens and cap attached lens down on the left side with the divider placed to allow it to fit in the space. On the right of the divider I place the M with the lens attached on its side. I attached one of the flip dividers such that it covers up the M and lens leaving space on top for another lens or the SL strap. There is also a slot to carry an iPad. At only 2.2 lbs it is fairly light and at $119 it is reasonably light. For bags I look for the smallest, lightest and least expensive.

Except I switched from 35 lux (11663) back to 50 lux (11892). This 50 prime is my new favorite focal range. I used to walk around with 35lux only on M240 but found that I was cropping all my pics so I switched back to 50lux. I find I prefer 50 lux over my 35 Lux (over Noct 0.95 even)
adli Posted March 26, 2017 Share #11 Posted March 26, 2017 For this purpose, I use the Ona Brixton. Fits the SL with large lens attached, an M body with lens and attached at least two other lenses or bodies.
vintola Posted March 26, 2017 Share #12 Posted March 26, 2017 Ona bags are beautiful, but there is no model, which is suitable for the SL with the battery grip.
Guest VVJ Posted March 26, 2017 Share #13 Posted March 26, 2017 Also using the Ona Brixton for Leica SL and M or Q.
FrankSL&M Posted March 26, 2017 Author Share #14 Posted March 26, 2017 Never tried or seen Ona in person but Looks high quality and very functional but heavy. Is the leather thick?
AlexP Posted March 27, 2017 Share #15 Posted March 27, 2017 Ona bags are beautiful, but there is no model, which is suitable for the SL with the battery grip. i'm using the ONA Berlin II. It fits SL with battery grip + 24-90 and Leica Q. I don't have M but i'm sure if my Q fit, you shouldn't have issue with your M.

Everyone who's shopped at Costco knows this and it's one of the ways that they keep costs down. Ikea has a similar policy.

johnbuckley Posted April 4, 2017 Share #20 Posted April 4, 2017 Just before Christmas, I bought the Ona Clifton leather backpack for traveling. It's not for going out for a day's shoot, it's for when you are going on a trip and want to bring your SL, M, and a number of lenses, and do not want arrive with one arm longer than the other and a crick in the neck. It works like a charm! There are two compartment bags that go inside it. On a trip a few weeks ago to Hawaii, I put the SL 90-280 in the lower compartment, and was able to easily fit the SL with the 24-90 on it, an M10 with a 50 APO on it, and still had room for the 35 Summicron. It fit easily and well on my back. Yes, that set up is heavy, but because it's a decent backpack, you arrive at your destination -- having put it on the back when walking through the airport -- with no discomfort or exhaustion. It's a great set up.
