Rebranded Tri x?

Is it still possible to buy re branded Tri-X in 35mm and if so, who makes it/where?

Years long gone. It was Arista Premium 400 from Freestyle. Even that was not the original Tri-X which was changed without notice in the Seventies. Tri-X is still available.

I didn't know that. Wasn't that also about the time Arista Premium 400 was available?

It was when Kodak switched Tri-X production to the same line that coated the TMax films. A lot of Tri-X users complained that the film lost a lot of its guts when that happened. I recall that Kodak issued new development times for Tri-X (in certain developers) at the same time.

Thank you for that. It really irks me. No, I mean it pisses me off! Tri-X has been so often misrepresented that I've moved to Ilford, for better or worse.
