ironringer Posted March 7, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 7, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am not sure where to ask this question, so I'll stay in this group: I just acquired a 13352 POOTR polarizing filter in good condition (no serious separation), and find that it's "mouth" is too wide to clamp on a screwmount collapsible Summicron 5cm lens. My questions are: 1. What size is the POOTR clamp-on ring? 2. What common Leica lenses does it fit? 3. Are there adapters to use the POOTR on smaller-diameter or larger-diameter lenses? (no mention of adapters in the literature) 4. What position (on the lens) should the clamp screw be in, when using the filter? (I assume at bottom, 6 o'clock?) I will appreciate guidance from POOTR users in Leicaland. Welcome, dear visitor! jc_braconi Posted March 7, 2017 Share #4 Posted March 7, 2017 4. What position (on the lens) should the clamp screw be in, when using the filter? (I assume at bottom, 6 o'clock?) usually at 9 o'clock you swing the lens in front of the viewfinder you turn it to remove the amount of reflection you want and next you swing back the lens on the mount and you are ready
