ohsmen Posted March 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 4, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I normally take B&W. To get an instant view, I set "B&W" and "DNG and JPG fine", instead of "DNG", in my M9. Today, I took several photos. When I loaded the photos to my computer (using Lightroom), it appeared that some photos lost DNG file (one JPG file remains) and other photos have both the DNG and JPG files. The memory card has sufficient space. I have no idea what happened..... Any suggestions? Thx!
Advertisement Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Hi ohsmen, Take a look here Problem with DNG and JPG on M9 when taking B&W. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Dan Bachmann Posted March 8, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 8, 2017 I do the same regularly and have never lost a file. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rus Posted March 9, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 9, 2017 I have only experienced this once with one DNG file lost. At another time the DNG file became separated from the JPEG in LR by other photos, i.e. the sequence of the photos was somehow disrupted after import into LR. Perhaps try formatting the SD card? It might be problems in the writing process
