Big John Posted February 18, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys Top Left button shortcut is set to ISO (think this is default). When long pressing, it doesn't appear in view finder - whereas other short cuts do. Any thoughts pls? Thanks John
Advertisement Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Hi Big John, Take a look here Short cut not visible in viewfinder. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ramarren Posted February 18, 2017 Share #2 Posted February 18, 2017 The default is that the TopLeft button is disabled when the EVF is active to prevent your nose or fingers from entering the menu system. This includes assigned functions too. There is an option in the setup pages of the menu that allows the TopLeft button to be enabled at all times.

Will have a think about whether to change that default or instead to move ISO shortcut elsewhere. John
ramarren Posted February 20, 2017 Share #4 Posted February 20, 2017 ...or move ISO shortcut elsewhere... I put EV Compensation on Top Right and ISO setting on Bottom Right. Top Left is set to Drive Mode (I almost never change it, and certainly not while looking through the EVF), Bottom Left is Metering Pattern (which I do switch between often).
