jto555 Posted February 16, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 16, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just found my SF40 to be broken. I took it out of the bag, switched it on and the ready blinked once and now it wont power on. I have tried fresh batteries and no go. Plus the flash gets very little use. This is the second flash that this has happened to and with the very same symptoms. Once could be a glitch, but twice seems like a pattern... How do other users find the flash? jto555 Posted February 20, 2017 Author Share #2 Posted February 20, 2017 I take it nobody else has an issue with the flash? So I am just lucky???
jmschuh Posted February 20, 2017 Share #3 Posted February 20, 2017 No problem until now. I´ve heard from same issues with the original Nissin i40. In many cases changing batteries damaged a flat ribbon cable at the edge of the battery compartment.

No problem until now, totally reliable and in fact I am thinking a really good flash-gun, they are Chinese made.

acolite Posted August 4, 2017 Share #6 Posted August 4, 2017 I just got one not too long ago, used, but so far, so good. Bad luck perhaps?
