I took this Gecko (can't remember the name) photo with the Canon Ring Flash mounted on the Q. I did remove the ring flash highlight from the eye using Photoshop.

Got my mini Lolumina today... perfect size.

 

 

 

Curious, does the Leica Q Soft Release Button unscrew easily to allow Button changes?  I don't have a Q yet but was curious as few owners seem to change their buttons and it looks like its not "Meant" to be removed.

For those of you using Lolumina soft shutter release on your Q, have you ever attempted removing it? Is it as easy as they make it sound in their instructions (as suggested using dental floss)? I like to add it to my Q but I am a bit concerned that it may damage the shutter button and/or leave glue residue if/when I decide to remove in future. Would appreciate it if you share any experience you may have... Thanks!

My new Leica Q. While strolling around the little town of Aalst (Belgium) today on my way to the shop I encountered a man walking around with a Q in his hand. How small is the chance that this happens? This was clearly a sign of the Leica gods

interesting, did you compare pictures with some done with  a wider lens or you assume this from the zeiss viewfinder? is not possible that viewfidner is also not a real 25mm ?

I use the optical viewfinder only for framing without switching the camera on or off. The 25mm frame is the right for the Q. The Q shows the image angle of a 25-26mm lens, not of a 28mm lens. It´s much wider. I think the Q has a 24mm lens and after cropping the 26MP sensor to 24MP (distortion correction) round about 25-26mm equivalent image angle is left. 28mm is only Leica marketing. ;)
