Ultrawide on Leica M 262

Has anyone had experience with ultrawide lenses like the Voigtlander 15mm F4.5 on Leica M 262?

 

I loved this lens when i was still shooting Sony with a number of adapters for the body

 

I haven't had a chance to put on my 262 and wondered about others experience

There are numerous threads on ultrawides including the 15 CV on M240 which would apply to the M262 aside from any comments about using the EVF in place of an auxiliary optical finder.

do you have any examples of this?

 

I'm guessing an external finder will need to be used as well?

I have used both lenses. 12mm Voightlander and now using 15mm Voightlander.

Both of them while we're at a good 12 mm gave me bit of Maganta color on the right side on a bright sunny day. But the new 12mm series III 15mm III now which i use both don't have any of this issue. These are my favorite lenses especially for street-Photography. Samples u can see them in M240 threat.

The 10mm lens i tried it in NY last month. Ooohh Boy!!!! that is one sweet lens. My next purchase be 10mm Voightlander for sure.

So yes these r v good lenses and i ve been using them on my M240 for as long as i can remember. Go for version III in any of these u wont regret.
