My original upload on this topic was with M240 & 50mm Summilux-M ASPH. Image treated in SEP2.  Below is one taken moments later with my IIIg, 5cm Summicron Collapsible & Acros 100. Scanned with Epson V700 into LR CC.  Less dramatic than the digital but I rather like it   :)

I enjoyed this and I think prefer it to the first version. Someone said of version 1 that there might be too much "competition" between the tree and sky and I think they were right.

 

What I like about this version is that it has better balance. The sky is still glorious but now the whole frame seems more in harmony, more of a whole. And oddly enough this version -- at least to this viewer -- looks more 'real', more believable and hence more satisfying... Well photographed.
