A very striking landscape Keith. I wonder if your processing has introduced too much competition between a dramatic sky and a stark detailed tree?

Thank you for the feedback, David.  I think I understand what you mean.  Yes I have boosted the contrast in the sky for some added drama.  However, given the direction and strength of the sunlight on the coniferous tree there seemed little hope of showing details of the needles etc, so presenting it as more or less a silhouette seemed the optimum solution.
