Welcome to the forum :)

You may wish to look at the classifieds section here:
There were none last time i checked though.
Mine is not for sale unfortunately but there are 499 other copies elsewhere so all hope is not lost if you're not in a hurry.

Welcome to the Forum :-)

They used to pop up from time to time on eBay for about $500 USD.

I have one for my 28 Summicron, bought new some 5 years ago from Popflash.

That leaves another 498 unaccounted for ;-)

Was a limited series for lenses having regular hoods already. Was selling new for EUR 300 (2010 & 2011) & EUR 350 (2012) in Europe vs EUR 250 for 24/3.8 & 21/1.4 hoods. Got my NIB copy in 2013 for EUR 315 at Leica Shop in Vienna Austria. Honest price then IMHO.

Unbelievable.  I'd been considering upgrading my 28 Summilux ASPH (for which I use this hood) to the new version. Selling the hood for $1000 USD would go a long way to covering the cost of upgrading the lens!

...and induces fantastic delirium if someone seriously payed  $1000 for it.

Indeed but prices will drop if you sell yours... I wonder if i won't sell mine first finally... OP are you still here? :D Just kidding but i still prefer the plastic hoods for 35/1.4 asph and aspherical to be honest. I should sell one or two of them with the lens if i were serious...
