keithlaban.co.uk Posted January 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, a problem that is new to me. On clicking an external link I'm returned to the original page rather than forwarded to the new page. Any help would be appreciated.
Advertisement Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Hi keithlaban.co.uk, Take a look here External links returning me to original page. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted January 19, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 19, 2017 Can you give us an example?
keithlaban.co.uk Posted January 19, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted January 19, 2017 Hi Andy, yes. As an example, If I click on your Blog: "Still my turn this year" link I'm just returned to this page. It also happens when I click on my footer website link. I also notice when I hover over a link it turns green. Is that normal behaviour? This only happens to me on LUF. TIA
andybarton Posted January 19, 2017 Share #4 Posted January 19, 2017 That's not normal and isn't what happens when I click on the link (to my blog or anywhere else). What browser/operating system? I can report this to Andreas, with that information, but he's probably still at the M10 launch party this morning

LUF Admin Posted January 20, 2017 Share #8 Posted January 20, 2017 Keith, can you please try three things: #1 Test another browser (Chrome or Firefox) #2 Test another computer or mobile device #3 Access the forum from another network (mobile, from home, office) Still the same problem? Perhaps a conflict of our tracking system with your security apps... Andreas
keithlaban.co.uk Posted January 20, 2017 Author Share #9 Posted January 20, 2017 Hello Andreas, I've discovered that if I pause protection on our Kaspersky Internet Security 2016 16.0.1 program then the problem goes away. I would imagine the problem is caused by a setting within Kaspersky but haven't a clue how to fix it. I'm not particularly computer savvy Many thanks Keith
andybarton Posted January 20, 2017 Share #10 Posted January 20, 2017 That'll be the cause of your problem. I don't know how to fix it either!
