war Posted January 23, 2017 Share #3 Posted January 23, 2017 Common little bird that does not get its due. Nice to see images of them. How right you are, they're one of the few species that stick out the winters with us no matter how harsh. Hearty little fellas.
Pecole Posted January 24, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted January 24, 2017 How right you are, they're one of the few species that stick out the winters with us no matter how harsh. Hearty little fellas. Happy to see your reactions! I also love these sympathetic companions. Every day at 7, my wife puts some bread on the stairs of the entrance door, and the sparrows are already waiting around. We also observe them during our breakfast. I will try to take some more images in the coming days, but the guys are quite timorous. But I take the opportunity to publish here some more images, notably of my daughter - many years ago - when she saved two babies sparrows fallen from a nest and cared for them several weeks. fotografr Posted January 24, 2017 Share #6 Posted January 24, 2017 The last four images of your daughter with the young sparrows are really touching. What she did says a lot about the kind of person she is. I really like the one showing the birds on top of her head.
