Can you tell me about your workflow in general ? For me Adobe CameraRaw is a very useful tool for the most of my pictures......
Robert M Poole Posted January 16, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted January 16, 2017 Dear Robert, I really like this picture a lot, but I would suggest to light up the shaddows a little if you dont mind ? Can you tell me about your workflow in general ? For me Adobe CameraRaw is a very useful tool for the most of my pictures...... Hi, Thanks for the edit, I like dark shadows but I know I should probably leave more detail in them I shoot RAW and use Lightroom 6. For these I used the Extarchrome vibrant preset from RNI. I never normally use presets but with Extarchrome coming back I felt like having a play. I then tweaked it a little bit. I used the dodge tool to brighten the man; applied a 'cinematic' crop too the first image. I also added a highlight and shadow tint, played around with the sliders, then exported the jpg with standard sharpening for screen. This is a very different workflow for me so I'm experimenting. I like the way the Summicron renders the colours more than I did the Summarit so I'm shooting more in colour where I was mostly mono before. Thanks for looking Rob www.robertpoolephotography.com

I don't like to go above about iso 800 but I think I've just about got away with it!
