Cabin-Fever Meltdown

It has been so cold with no blizzards or thunder snows that I have been diagnosed with cabin fever.

The doctor told me to just walk around the house and take photographs at will.

Please, no cruel mocking

Been there! I used to live just north of you on Forest Lake. Cabin fever was responsible for some crazy ice races. On motorcycles! Mine was a Triumph Tiger Cub. I did say crazy. Now retired in the Tropics of MinneSnowta.

Hang in there! :)

Yes.  I look at the European and American snows and blizzards, and wonder how you can live there.

Here the next day it's over 400C, and I wish I was with you.... :p

Understand, please, that in this region of Minnesota we are largely second generation German, Norwegian and Irish. A tough bunch, as they say. if the weather is not challenging, it's not happening. :)

I remember times like this from when I was a teenager and too broke to go out. I would spend evenings looking for things to photograph. I recall one night building a mechanical switch to fire a flash then using that to photograph lightbulbs being hit with a hammer and shot with an air rifle.

I got some pretty good images that evening, but it did get expensive when I had to replace all the bulbs. :)
