james.liam Posted January 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 14, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yet another creation by Miyazaki San is now out. Seems to be a simple 4-element design so doubtful that it offers any advantage over the CV 4,5/15 aside from size.

luigi bertolotti Posted January 14, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 14, 2017 ... you're probably right... but clearly seems that there is a market niche for those oddities

james.liam Posted January 15, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) ... and new will be Aporis 135 mm f/2.4 Fluorit Super Apochroma: http://leicarumors.com/2017/01/15/ms-optics-aporis-135-mm-f2-4-fluorit-super-apochroma-lens-for-leica-m-mount.aspx/ Read about this one months back; it seems by far, the most interesting of all the MS lenses to date, aside from the 50/3.5 collapsible they briefly made and is as rare as unobtainium. The 50/1.1 might qualify but it seems to be a particularly quirky creature. Hope it doesn't have the irritating complication of focus shift that made me avoid the recent 28/2.
